I started out as an Electrical and Electronics Engineer — and when I tell people I gave it all up, they usually look at me like I’m crazy. But the truth is, even though I enjoyed the work, it was never something I felt truly passionate about. And big city life? It just wasn’t for me.

In 2011, my family and I packed up and moved from the Midlands to a small coastal town in Dorset, right on the beautiful Jurassic Coast. That move changed everything. It’s where my love for photography really began — and where I finally found a career that didn’t just pay the bills, but filled me with excitement and purpose.

These days, I spend my time capturing landscapes, street scenes, and creative concepts. Landscape and street photography get me out exploring the incredible beauty we have here in Dorset, while portrait work lets me connect with people and show them at their absolute best. I also have a real soft spot for creative photography — there’s something amazing about seeing a plan come together after hours of experimenting and fine-tuning. That feeling of accomplishment never gets old.

As for YouTube? People often ask why I started a channel — and honestly, my answer is, why not? Photography isn’t just about snapping a picture; it’s about telling a story. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and I believe every serious photographer knows exactly what that means.

Photography, to me, isn’t just about what you see — it’s about how you see it.
