A triptych is a set of images spread across three separate panels displayed side-by-side. They have been present in art for thousands of years. And, in modern photography, it’s one of the most popular ways to display multiple images.
Triptychs allow photographers to get creative, and there’s no single “right” way to go about planning one. There are plenty of ways in which photographs communicate with one another. Getting the right configuration often takes experimentation.
